1980 sonrası Türkçe Kur'an meâllerinde aşırı yorum sorunsalı

Abstract

Giriş ve iki bölümden oluşan bu çalışmada, son dönem meallerinde yer alan aşırı yorum örneklerini sunmayı amaçladık. Giriş bölümünde çalışmanın konusunu, önemini, kaynaklarını ve metodunu ortaya koymaya çalıştık. Birinci bölümde tercüme ve meal kavramı, Kur'an'ın tercüme tarihi özelde ise Kur'an'ın Türkçe tercümelerinin tarihi serüveni ve meallerde yer alan yorumların neden aşırı olarak değerlendirildiğini açıkladık ve söz konusu meallerde yer alan hataların nedenleri hakkında bilgi verdik. İkinci bölümde ise çalışmamıza konu olan on altı mealde geçen ve aşırı olarak yorumlanabilen görüşleri ele aldık ardından söz konusu yorumlar ile ilgili kısa değerlendirmelerde bulunduk. Bahsi geçen meallerde Kur'an ayetlerinin yeni yorumlara tabi tutulduğunu ve bu yorumların, peygamberin/sünnetin ya da geleneğin devre dışı bırakılarak dinin salt Kur'an üzerinden anlaşılması amacına binaen yapıldığını gördük. Kur'an'da geçtiği ifade edilen bazı hususların yanlış anlaşıldığı, çağa uymadığı ifade edilmiş ve yeni yorumlar getirilmiştir. Söz gelimi Kur'an'da başörtüsünün olmadığı, faizin, içkinin yasaklanmadığı, hırsızlık suçuna karşılık bir ceza olarak verilen el kesme cezasının olmadığı türünden yorumlara rastlanmaktadır. Söz konusu meallerden çoğunun sosyal medya aracılığı ile bir kısmının ise ücretsiz olarak insanlara kolay bir şekilde ulaştırıldığını gördüğümüz için bahsi geçen meallerde yer alan aşırı yorumları ortaya koyarak bu hususta farkındalık oluşturmayı amaçladık. Ancak söz konusu meallerin tümünde aşırı olarak nitelendirilen yorumların yer almadığını gördük ve bir kısmını hem okura karşılaştırma yapması için hem de çalışmanın metodolojisine uygun olduğu için çalışmamıza ekledik. Son olarak Arapça bilmeyen insanlara Kur'an'ı anlatma ihtiyacını karşılamak amacı ile kaleme alınması gereken meallerde aşırı olarak değerlendirilen yorumlar ile ilgili genel bir değerlendirmede bulunduk. In this study, which consists of an introduction and two parts, we aimed to present examples of extreme interpretations in recent translations. In the introduction, we tried to reveal the subject, importance, sources and method of the study. In the first part, we explained the concept of translation and meaning, the history of translation of the Qur'an, in particular the historical adventure of the Turkish translations of the Qur'an, and why the interpretations in the translations were considered excessive, and we gave information about the reasons for the errors in the translations in question. In the second part, we discussed the views that can be interpreted as excessive in sixteen translations that are the subject of our study, and then we made brief evaluations about the comments in question. We saw that the verses of the Qur'an were subjected to new interpretations in the translations mentioned, and that these interpretations were made for the purpose of understanding religion only through the Qur'an, by disabling the prophet/sunnah or tradition. It was stated that some of the issues mentioned in the Qur'an were misunderstood and did not fit the age, and new interpretations were introduced. For example, there are interpretations in the Qur'an that there is no headscarf, that interest and alcohol are not prohibited, and that there is no hand cut off as a punishment for theft. Since we saw that most of the translations in question were easily delivered to people through social media and some of them free of charge, we aimed to raise awareness on this issue by revealing the extreme comments in the aforementioned translations. However, we saw that not all of the translations in question contain comments that are considered excessive, and we have included some of them in our study both for the reader to compare and because they are suitable for the methodology of the study. Finally, we made a general assessment about the comments that are considered excessive in the translations that should be written in order to meet the need to explain the Qur'an to people who do not know Arabic.
