DİN KÜLTÜRÜ AHLAK BİLGİSİ ÖĞRETMENLERİNİN MESLEĞE YÖNELİK TUTUMLARI İLE EĞİTİME OLAN İNANÇLARI ARASINDAKİ İLİŞKİ

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, Din Kültürü ve Ahlak Bilgisi (DKAB) öğretmenlerinin mesleğe yönelik tutumları ile eğitime olan inanç düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden ilişkisel tarama tekniği ile tasarlanan çalışmanın örneklem grubu İstanbul İlinde çalışmakta olan 354 DKAB öğretmenidir. Araştırma verilerini toplamak için Üstüner tarafından geliştirilen “Öğretmenlik Mesleğine Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği” ile araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen “Eğitime Yönelik İnanç Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre DKAB öğretmenlerinin, öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik tutumları ile genel olarak eğitime olan inançları düşük düzeydedir. DKAB öğretmenlerinin, din eğitimine olan inançlarının düşük seviyede olduğu belirlenmiştir. Eğitime olan inanç ile mesleğe yönelik tutum arasında anlamlı ilişki tespit edilmiştir. Din eğitiminin amacının gerçekleştirilmesi için eğitime inanan ve mesleğini seven öğretmenlerin eğitim sisteminde bulunması gereklidir. Bu araştırma sonuçlarının, din eğitimi alanında çalışanlara, din eğitimi politikalarını belirleyenlere ve öğretmen yetiştiren kurumlara önemli veri sağlayacağı; ayrıca literatürdeki önemli bir boşluğu kapatacağı düşünülmektedir.

The aim of this study is to determine the attitudes of religious education teachers towards the profession and the belief levels in education. The sample group of the study, which was designed with relational survey model, was 354 RE teachers working in İstanbul. According to the results of the research, RE teachers' attitudes towards teaching profession and their general beliefs in education, are low. RE teachers have a low level of belief in religious education. A significant relationship was found between the belief in education and attitude towards the profession. In order to realize the purpose of religious education, teachers who believe in education and who love their profession should be present in the education system. The results of this research will provide important data to those working in the field of religious education, those who determine religious education policies and teacher training institutions; it is also thought to close a significant gap in the literature.
