Spor bilimlerinde öğrenim gören öğrencilerin akademik öz yeterlilik, KPSS sınavına hazırlık kaygısı ve tükenmişlik algılarının incelenmesi

Abstract

Bu araştırma, Türkiyedeki spor bilimlerinde öğrenim gören öğrencilerin akademik öz yeterlilik, KPSS sınavına hazırlık kaygısı ve tükenmişlik algılarının incelenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini, 2022-2023 Eğitim-Öğretim yılında Spor bilimlerinde öğrenim gören 3. ve 4. sınıf öğrencileri oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemi tespit edilirken kolayda örnekleme yöntemi ile belirlenen 429 kadın ve erkek spor bilimlerinde öğrenim gören öğrencisi oluşturmuştur. Bu araştırmada, dört bölümden oluşan bir anket formu veri toplama yöntemi olarak kurgulanmıştır. Araştırmanın sonuçlarını elde etmek için veriler üzerinde, ortalama, standart sapma, frekans/yüzde, normal dağılım testi (Kolmogorov-Smirnov test), gibi tanımlayıcı istatistiklerin yanısıra, veriler normal dağılmadığı için, ikili karşılaştırmalarda t-testi (Mann-Withney U test), çoklu karşılaştırmalarda varyans analizi (Kruskal Wallis-H test) testi ve korelasyon testi (Spearman Corelation Test) kullanılmıştır. Yapılan analizler sonucunda, katılımcıların cinsiyete göre akademik öz yeterlik ve tükenmişlik alt boyutlarında, istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılık tespit edilemezken, KPSS hazırlık kaygısı alt boyutunda, istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılık tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca KPSS hazırlık kaygısı alt boyutu ile tükenmişlik alt boyutu arasında, istatistiksel olarak orta düzeyde pozitif yönlü anlamlı ilişki saptanmıştır. This research was conducted to examine the academic self-efficacy, KPSS exam preparation anxiety and burnout perceptions of students studying in sports sciences in Turkey. The universe of the research consists of 3rd and 4th grade students studying in sports sciences in the 2022-2023 academic year. While determining the sample of the research, 429 female and male students studying in sports sciences were determined by convenience sampling method. In this study, a questionnaire consisting of four parts was designed as a data collection method. In order to obtain the results of the research, descriptive statistics such as mean, standard deviation, frequency/percentage, normal distribution test (Kolmogorov-Smirnov test), as well as t-test for pairwise comparisons (Mann-Withney U test) Analysis of variance (Kruskal Wallis-H test) test and correlation test (Spearman Corelation Test) were used in multiple comparisons. As a result of the analyzes, while no statistically significant difference was found in the sub-dimensions of academic self-efficacy and burnout of the participants by gender, a statistically significant difference was found in the KPSS preparation anxiety sub-dimension. In addition, a statistically moderately positive and significant relationship was found between the KPSS preparation anxiety sub-dimension and the burnout sub-dimension.
