TÜRKIYE’DE KAVRAM VE KURAM AÇMAZLARI: LAIKLIK ÜZERINE BIR INCELEME

Abstract

Türkiye ve diger Bati disi toplumlardaki “kavram” açmazlari, aslinda kavramlarin ve kuramlarin kendi ereklerine hizmet etme özelliklerinden kaynaklanmaktadir. Çünkü bir kavram ve kuram-teori ya da paradigma, her bir incelemede gizli ya da açik olarak kendi zamanina ve mekânina isaret etmektedir. Bu durumda modernlesme sonucunda ortak olarak kullanilmaya baslanan Avrupa merkezli kuramlar, kavram açmazlarinin temel nedeni olarak görülebilir. Nitekim her toplumun kendi toplumsal gerçekligine dayanarak kavram ve anlam haritasi olusturmasi dogal bir kuraldir. Makalede bu kuralin ihlali “laiklik” kavrami örneginde incelenmeye çalisilmistir. Makalenin amaci, genelde Bati disi toplumlarin özelde ise Türkiye’nin kavram açmazlarini tespit etmek, özgün kavram ve kuram ihtiyacina dikkat çekmek ve yeni kavram setleri olusturmanin gerekliligini gündeme getirmektir.The conceptual dilemmas, in Turkey and in the other non-Western societies, are due to the characteristics those the concepts and theories actually serve for their own goals. Because a concept and hypothesistheory or paradigm, hiddenly or clearly point to its own time and place in every study. In this circumstances, the Eurocentric models, which have been started to commonly use as a result of modernisation, can be seen as the basic reason of conceptual dilemmas. Thus, it is the natural rule that every society creates concept and meaning map based on its own social reality. In the essay, the infringement of this rule is tried to analyze in the case of the notion of laicism. The aim of the essay, is to determine the conceptual dilemmas of the non-Western societies in general and especially the conceptual dilemmas of Turkey and, is to point out the need of original concept and original theory and is to bring forward the necessity of forming new concept folders.
