Sosyal ve ekonomik destek hizmetinden faydalanan çocukların okula devam ve başarı durumlarının değerlendirilmesi: Ergani Sosyal Hizmet Merkezi örneği

Abstract

Sosyal Hizmet uygulama modellerinden olan sosyal ve ekonomik destek hizmet modeli ile çocuğun aile yanında desteklenmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Çocuklar için en güvenilir ortam aile yanıdır. Sağlıklı aile çocuğun hayata bakış açısının şekillendiği güvenli ortam sağlayan, çocuğun öz güvenli , ne istediğini bilen birey olarak ileriye umutla baktığı aidiyet hissederek büyüdüğü yerdir. Sosyal ve ekonomik destek hizmetinin amacı, sağlıklı aile ortamı ekonomik ve sosyal nedenlerle bozulan ailelere ve çocuklara kaynaklar ölçüsünde imkanlar sağlayarak çocuğun ailesinin yanında desteklenmesidir. Nitel araştırma yöntemi izlenerek yapılan çalışmada sosyal ve ekonomik destek hizmet modelinden faydalanan ailelerin çocuklarının sağlanan ekonomik destek ile temel ihtiyaçlarından biri olan eğitim hakkı, okula devam durumu ve eğitim öğretim faaliyetlerindeki başarı düzeyine etkisi incelenmiştir. SED hizmet modelinin okula devamı olumlu etkilediği başarı durumunda bireysel çaba ve diğer imkanların sağlanması gerekliliği ortaya çıkmıştır.

With the social and economic support service model, which is one of the social work application models, it is aimed to support the child with the family. Homestay is the safest enviroment for children. A healty family is a place where the child grows up with a sense of belonging, providing a safe environment where his perspective on life is shaped and looking forward with hope as an individual who is self-confident and knows what he wants. Whith social economic support, providing opportunities to families and children whose healthy family environment is deteriorated due to economic and social reasons, with in the limits of resources and, supporting the child with his/her family. İn the qualitative study, the use of the right to education, which is one of the basic needs of the children of the families benefiting from the social economic support service model, with the economic support provided, has a positive effect on the school attendance and on the education and training activities success was analyzed. İt has emerged that attendance to school is positively affected, and the necessity of providing individual effort and other opportunities in case of success.
