VAN İLİNDE KARAYOLU ULAŞIMININ GELİŞİMİNİ ETKİLEYEN FAKTÖRLERİN İNCELENMESİ

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, Van ili sınırları içerisinde yer alan karayolu ulaşımının gelişiminde etkili olan faktörler üzerinde durulmaktadır. Van ilinde karayolu ulaşımının tarihi gelişimi incelendiğinde özellikle Urartular ve Osmanlılar döneminde yapılan yollar karayolu ulaşımının gelişiminde etkili olmuştur. Van ilinin jeopolitik konumu ve tarihi çerçevesinde karayollarının hem il içi hem de uluslararası bağlantılarında önemli gelişmeler olmakla birlikte istenilen noktaya gelinemediği görülmektedir. Türkiye Cumhuriyeti tarihinin ilk dönemlerinde kaynak yetersizliğinden dolayı karayollarında istenen oranda gelişim sağlanamamıştır. Bu çalışma literatür taraması sonucu elde edilen kaynaklar ve ilgili kurumlardan alınan veriler yardımıyla hazırlanmış; tablo, grafik ve haritalarlarla desteklenmiştir. Nüfusun artması karayolu ulaşımına olan ihtiyacı da arttırmaktadır. Van ilinde karayolu ulaşımı önünde topoğrafya, iklim ve kaynak yetersizliği gibi sorunların olduğu görülmektedir.

This study focuses on the factors are affecting the development of highway transportation within the borders of Van province. When the historical development of highway transport transportation in Van province is examined, especially the roads built during the Urartians and Ottomans periods were effective in the development of highway transport. Within the framework of the geopolitical location and the history of the province of Van, it is seen that there are important developments both in the province and in the international connections of the highways, but the desired point cannot be reached. Due to the lack of resources in the early history of the Republic of Turkey could not be achieved at the desired rate developments on highways. This study was prepared with the help of the resources obtained from the literature review and the data obtained from the relevant institutions; It is supported by tables, graphics and maps. Increasing population also increases the need for road transportation. It is observed that there are problems such as topography, climate and lack of resources in front of highway transportation in Van province.
