İslam Siyasi Düşüncesinde Sabır Ekolü ve St. Augustine Karşılaştırması

Abstract

Din vesiyaset ilişkisinde; İslam’ın öngördüğü anlayış ile Hristiyan siyasi düşüncesiarasında önemli farklar vardır. Hristiyanlıkta “iki kılıç teziyle” din ve dünyaotoriteleri arasında bir sınır çizilirken; İslam’da “iki kılıç teorisi”, ayrıruhani ve laik otoriteler yoktur. Teoride halifenin ve emirin makamları aynıkişide birleşmiştir. Bu çalışmada İslam siyaset düşüncesinin Sabır ekolü ileSt. Augustine’nin siyasi düşüncesi arasında benzerlikler ele alınmıştır. Bubenzerlikler; ideal bir hükümet sisteminin öngörülmemesi, yönetim sistemindeadalet kavramının önemi, zalim iktidara karşı itaat, otoritenin zorbalıktandolayı cezalandırılacağı ve zorbalığın yönetilenler için hem imtihan hem de birceza olduğu düşüncesi olmak üzere dört başlıkta incelenmiştir. Hristiyan siyasidüşüncesi ve siyasal düşünceler ile ilgili eserlerde St. Augustine’e yerverilse de eserlerinden sadece iki tanesinin Türkçeye çevrilmiş olması, İslam’da din ve devlet ilişkisi ile ilgili tartışmaların dün olduğu gibi, özellikle Arap Baharıyla birlikte, bugün de canlılığını koruması gibi hususlardikkate alındığında bu çalışmanın literatüre katkı sağlaması hedeflenmektedir.

In the context of religion and politics; thereare important differences between Islamic political thought and Christianpolitical thought. While a line is drawn between religious and worldlyauthority with "the Doctrine of the Two Swords" in Christianpolitical thought, in Islam there is no "the Doctrine of the TwoSwords" separating spiritual and secular authorities. Theoretically, theauthority of caliph and ruler is united in one and the same person. In thisstudy, the similarities between St. Augustine's political thought and thepolitical ideas of “pro-patience school” in Islamic political thought will be addressed.These similarities are as follow: the absence of the ideal regime, the conceptof justice, the proposal of obedience against tyrannical power, the idea thatthe authoritarian will be punished for tyranny, and the tyranny is both a testand a punishment for those who are ruled. This study is considered importantand distinctive, taking into account that although being referred in the workson Christian political thought, only two of St. Augustine's books have beentranslated into Turkish, and the current and ongoing controversy over religionand state relations in Islam remains significant, especially in the context ofthe Arab Spring, which started in 2010.
