Aristoteles’te Tekhne Olarak Sanatın Epistemik Değeri

Abstract

Aristoteles?te tekhne olarak sanat, sanatçıyı yapıtı ile buluşturan, ona o işi yapmasında rehberlik eden bir yaratma etkinliği ve gerçekliğin bir taklidi (mimessis) olarak tezahür etmektedir. Bu bağlamda sanatçı; doğa unsurlarını, insan ilişkilerini, hem olanı hem de gerçeklikten uzaklaşmaksızın olabilir olanı eserlerinde canlandıran bir yapı ustası olmaktadır. Bu durumda Aristoteles için sanat, sanatçının gördüğü nesneyi salt taklit etmesi değil, gerçekliğin yeniden yorumlanması veya var olanın, sanatçının kendi duygu ve düşünceleri çerçevesinde farklı bir biçimde yeniden dönüştürülmesidir ve bu yönüyle sanat, insana özgü bir etkinliktir. O halde bu etkinlik, hayali bir gerçekliği mi sunmaktadır? Sanatı sadece gerçekliğin basit bir kopyası ve insanları gerçek hayattan uzaklaştıran bir yanılsama olarak gören, kendisinden önceki anlayışın aksine Aristoteles için sanat, insanlara hayali gerçekliği sunan ve böylece onları gerçeklikten uzaklaştıran değil, bilakis, bir sanatçının düşüncesinde anlam bulan hayatın kendisini, bütün çıplaklığı ile gözler önüne sermedir. Dolayısıyla bu çalışmadaki temel amacımız; düşünce, gerçeklik, bilgi ilişkisi açısından Aristoteles?te sanatın neliğini ve onun sanat anlayışının epistemik değerini ayrıntılı bir şekilde ortaya koymaktır.

In Arıstotle, epistemological value of art as tekhne is a creation activity that brings together the artist with his work, guiding him in doing the work and is an imitation (mimessis) of reality. In this context, the artist is a building master who portrays the elements of nature, a human relation, both what is and what can happen without away from reality in his works. In this case, for Aristotle, art is not simply imitating the object that the artist sees, but reinterpreting of reality, or is transformed of the existing in a different way within the framework of the artist's own feelings and thoughts, and in this respect, art is a human activity. So is this activity presenting an imaginary reality? Contrary to the conception of art as just simply a copy of reality and an illusion that distracts people from real life, art for Aristotle is not all that presents the imaginary reality to people and thus distracts them from reality, but reveals life itself, with all its nakedness, which has a meaning in the thought of an artist. Therefore, our main purpose in this study is; in terms of thought, reality, knowledge relationship, in Aristotle, to reveal thoroughly the nature of art and its epistemic value.
