Dostoyevski'nin Romanlarında Varoluşçu Temalar

Abstract

Problem of existence is one of the areas philosophers have worked on it during the history ofthought. Because, there none of the creatures except humankind have the potential of existence. When it comes to humankind, both importance and greatness of the problem can be easily understood. Of course, it is possible to talk about the philosophers who handled the history of thought during the history and each philosopher when handling this analyzed it according to their own era’s soul. When the 19. Century arrived, we see that the problem handled both intensely and in a detailed way. And the leading figure handled this problem on his time is Dostoyevsky. Because, Dostoyevsky is one of the precious philosophers who worked on existentialist themes on literature. Using this problem on literature effectively, Dostoyevsky at the same time left a big effect on the other representatives of existentialist movement also known as ‘human philosophy’.

Varlık konusu düşünce tarihi boyunca düşünürlerin üzerinde durduğu temel problemlerden biridir. Çünkü var olma potansiyeline insandan başka hiçbir varlık sahip değildir. Söz konusu insan olunca da, alanın ve sorunun önem ve büyüklüğü de hemen anlaşılabiliyor. Düşünce tarihi boyunca birçok filozof varoluş problemini ele almış, her biri bu sorunu ele alırken, yaşadıkları dönemin koşullarından bağımsız kalamamış, bu sorunu dönemlerinin ruhuna göre incelemiş ve değerlendirmişlerdir. Varoluş (egzistans) probleminin 19. yüzyılda diğer dönemlere göre daha yoğun ve daha ayrıntılı bir şekilde ele alındığı görülmektedir. Bu çağda sözkonusu ele alarak kitaplarında ayrıntılı bir şekilde inceleyen düşünürlerin başında ise, Dostoyevski gelir. Çünkü Dostoyevski, varoluşçu temaları edebiyat alanında ustaca işleyen ender düşünürden biridir. Bu sorunu edebiyat alanında çok etkili bir şekilde işleyen Dostoyevski, aynı zamanda 20. yüzyılda “İnsan Felsefesi” olarak adlandırılan Varoluşçu akımın temsilcileri üzerinde de ciddi izler bırakmıştır. Biz bu yazıda onun eserlerinden yola çıkarak varoluşçu felsefenin izlerini süreceğiz.
