İktisat Düşüncesinde Devlet Müdahaleciliği Kuramının Evrimi

Abstract

The debates about what the limits of state interventionism should be is one of the most important debates of the theories of economic thought. These debates have a significant continuity with the need to redefine the state's basic economic functions. The fact that the borders between national states are lifted, in other words the globalization process, is the most important factor affecting and transforming the position of the state in the economic system. The guiding element in this transformation mechanism is increasing international competition.

Devlet müdahaleciliğinin sınırlarının ne olması gerektiğine yönelik tartışmalar, iktisadi düşünce kuramlarının en önemli tartışma konularından birini oluşturmaktadır. Bu tartışmalar devletin temel ekonomik işlevlerinin yeniden belirlenmesi ihtiyacı nedeni ile belirgin bir süreklilik taşımaktadır. Ulus devletler arasındaki sınırların ortadan kalkması, farklı bir ifade ile küreselleşme süreci, devletin iktisadi sistem içerisindeki konumunu etkileyen ve dönüştüren en önemli unsurdur. Bu dönüşüm mekanizması içerisindeki yönlendirici temel öğe ise artan uluslararası rekabettir.
