Ortaokul Ögrencilerinin Dinleme/Izleme Stratejileri Kullanim Sikliklarinin Çesitli Degiskenler Açisindan Degerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Bu arastirmada ortaokul ögrencilerinin dinleme/izleme stratejileri kullanim sikliklarinin çesitli degiskenler açisindan degerlendirilmesi amaçlanmistir. Bu amaç dogrultusunda ortaokul ögrencilerinin dinleme/izleme stratejileri kullanim sikliklarinin ne düzeyde oldugu, ögrenim gördükleri sinif düzeylerine, okul türüne ve cinsiyete göre anlamli degisiklik gösterip göstermedigi sorularina cevap aranmistir. Arastirmada var olan bir durumu ortaya çikarmayi amaçlayan tarama modeli kullanilmistir. Arastirmanin çalisma grubunu Mus il merkezinde bulunan devlet okullarinda ve özel okullarda ögrenimine devam eden toplam 403 ortaokul ögrencisi olusturmaktadir. Arastirmada veriler 2018-2019 egitim ögretim yili bahar döneminde arastirmacinin katilimiyla toplanmistir. Veri toplama araci olarak Dogan ve Erdem (2017) tarafindan gelistirilen “Ortaokul Ögrencilerinin Dinleme/Izleme Stratejileri Kullanim Sikligi Ölçegi” kullanilmistir. Veriler bir istatistik programi (SPSS for Windows 22.0) kullanilarak analiz edilmistir. Çalismada ortaokul ögrencilerinin dinleme/izleme stratejileri kullanim sikliklari ögrenim gördükleri sinif düzeyleri ve cinsiyet degiskenlerine göre anlamli farklilik gösterirken ögrenim gördükleri okul türü degiskenine göre ise anlamli farklilik göstermemistir. Ulasilan sonuçlar alan yazin dogrultusunda tartisilmis ve çalismayla ilgili öneriler sunulmustur.In this study, it was aimed to evaluate the usage frequencies of listening/monitoring strategies of secondary school students in terms of various variables. For this purpose, answers were sought to the questions at what level the frequencies of listening/monitoring strategies of secondary school students are, whether they differ significantly depending on the grade level, school type and gender. The scanning model that aims to reveal an existing situation was used in the study. The study group consists of 403 secondary school students who continue their education in public and private schools in the city center of Mus. The data were collected in the spring term of 2018-2019 academic year with the participation of the researcher. "Secondary School Students’ Listening/Monitoring Strategies Usage Frequency Scale", developed by Dogan and Erdem (2017), was used as the data collection tool. Data were analyzed by using a statistical program (SPSS for Windows 22.0). In the study, while the frequency of using listening/monitoring strategies of middle school students differed significantly according to the variables of their grade level and gender, it did not differ significantly according to the variable of the type of school they were educated. The results obtained were discussed in line with the literature and suggestions were about presented.
