Sosyal Bilgiler Dersi Için Örnek Sözlü Tarih Uygulamasi: Geçmisten Günümüze Komsuluk

Abstract

Sözlü tarih toplumlarin kültürel degerlerinin zaman içerisindeki degisimini yansitan yöntemlerden biridir. Bu arastirmanin amaci komsuluk kavraminin geçmisten günümüze yasadigi degisim ve sürekliligine iliskin bakis açisini sosyal bilgiler ögretmen adaylarinin sözlü tarih yöntemi uygulamalari ile incelemektir. Nitel arastirma yöntemlerinden olgubilim deseninin kullanildigi arastirmanin katilimci grubunu Mus Alparslan Üniversitesi Sosyal Bilgiler Ögretmenligi 2. sinifinda ögrenim gören on iki ögretmen adayi olusturmaktadir. Uygulama konusu olarak sosyal bilgiler dersi ögretim programi “Kültür ve Miras” ögrenme alani içinde yer alan “Geçmisimi Ögreniyorum” ünitesinde yer verilen “Komsuluk” kavrami seçilmistir. Veriler yari yapilandirilmis görüsme formundan elde edilmistir. Içerik analizi ile çözümlenen arastirmanin sonuçlarina göre, komsuluk iliskileri zaman içinde degisime ugramistir ve bu degisim olumsuz yöndedir. Buna göre günümüzde kültürel degerlerimizi de yansitan yardimlasma, paylasma, dayanisma gibi ögeler önemini kaybetmis güvensiz, ilgisiz, iletisimsiz ve samimiyetsiz komsuluklar olusmustur. Bununla beraber devam eden canli tutulan gelenekler de bulunmaktadir. Ögretmen adaylarinin yaptiklari sözlü tarih çalismasi ile bu yönteme iliskin olumlu duygular gelistirmis, geçmise yönelik merak duymaya baslamis ve sözlü tarih yöntemini ögretici bir yöntem olarak görmüslerdir.

Oral history is one of the methods that reflect the change of cultural values of societies over time. The aim of this research is to examine the perspective of the concept of neighborhood from the past to the present regarding its change, and continuity with the oral history method applications of social studies teacher candidates. Twelve students in Mus Alparslan University Social Studies Teaching Department are the participant group of the research in which the phenomenological design was used as one of the qualitative research methods. The concept of “Neighborliness”, which is included in the “I am Learning about My Past” unit located in the “Culture and Heritage” learning area of the social studies course curriculum, has been chosen as the application topic. The data were obtained from the semi-structured interview form. According to the results of the research analyzed by content analysis, neighborly relations have changed over time and this change is in a negative direction. According to this, today, elements such as solidarity, sharing, which also reflect our cultural values, have lost their importance, unsafe, uninteresting, uncommunicative, and insincere neighborhood have been formed. However, there are also traditions that are kept alive that continue. With the oral history study conducted by the teacher candidates, they developed positive feelings about this method, began to feel curious about the past, and saw the oral history method as an instructive method.
