Kuzey Kıbrıs Türk Cumhuriyeti (KKTC) ortaokul Türkçe ders kitaplarının kök değerler bağlamında incelenmesi

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı, KKTC ortaokul Türkçe ders kitaplarındaki metinlerin 2018 Türkçe Dersi Öğretim Programı'nda ifade edilen kök değerler bağlamında incelenmesidir. Araştırmada; amaca yönelik olarak nitel yöntem kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın dokümanlarını KKTC Milli Eğitim ve Kültür Bakanlığı tarafından 2018 yılında yayımlanan ortaokul Türkçe ders kitapları oluşturmaktadır. Veriler, nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden doküman incelemesiyle toplanmıştır. İnceleme sürecinde değerler, 2018 Türkçe Dersi Öğretim Programı'nda yer alan değerlere ilişkin tutum ve davranışlar göz önünde bulundurularak tespit edilmiştir. Çalışma dokümanında yer alan kök değerlerin analiz edilmesinde betimsel analiz tekniği kullanılmıştır. KKTC ortaokul Türkçe ders kitaplarında yer alan metinler kök değerler açısından titizlikle incelenmiş ve kök değerlere ilişkin veriler tablolara işlenerek analiz edilmiştir. İncelenen kitaplarda değerlerin dengeli bir şekilde yer almadığı ve metinlerdeki kök değerlerin değer aktarımı açısından yeterli olmadığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Ulaşılan sonuçtan yola çıkılarak kitapların güncellenmesi durumunda değerler eğitimi konusunda uzman kişilerden destek alınması, ders kitaplarında değerlere yer verme durumuna yönelik bir standartın oluşturulması önerilmiştir.

The aim of this study is to examine the texts in TRNC secondary school Turkish textbooks in the context of the root values expressed in the 2018 Turkish Language Teaching Programme. The research is a qualitative study and case study design, one of the qualitative research designs, was used within the scope of the research. The documents of the research consist of secondary school Turkish textbooks published by the TRNC Ministry of National Education and Culture in 2018. The data were collected by document analysis, one of the qualitative research methods, in order to examine the values in TRNC secondary school Turkish textbooks. During the examination process, the values were determined by taking into consideration the attitudes and behaviours related to the values in the 2018 Turkish Language Curriculum. Descriptive analysis technique was used to analyse the root values in the study document. The texts in the TRNC secondary school Turkish textbooks were meticulously examined in terms of root values and the data on root values were analysed in tables. Based on the findings, it was concluded that the values were not balanced in the examined textbooks and the root values in the texts were not sufficient in terms of value transfer. Based on the results, it is suggested that in case of updating the textbooks, it is recommended to get support from experts on values education and to establish a standard for the inclusion of values in the textbooks.
