Üniversite Öğrencilerinin Fonksiyonel Olmayan Tutumların Genel, Kişisel ve Sosyal Uyum Düzeylerini Yordama Gücü

Abstract

The aim of this study isto analyze whether there is statistically significant difference between theuniversity students’ dysfunctional attitudes and their general, individual andsocial adjustment levels.The research model has been designed with relationalresearch method. The sample of the research consists of 950 students selectedthrough rate layer sampling method. The data of the research was gathered byusing, Non-functional Attitude Scale and Personal Information Form. Accordingto the results emerging from the study, perfectionism, need for approval, independent and variable attitude which are 4 sub-dimensions of non-functionalattitudes scale explain %8.7 change of general adjustment level, %6.4 change ofpersonal adjustment level and %9.1 change of social adjustment level. Accordingto the normalized regression coefficient, the impact of predictor variable ongeneral adjustment level of relativist order of importance is (?=0.138) forperfectionist attitude, (?=-0.134) for independent attitude, (?=-0.108) forneed for approval and (?=-0.047) for variable attitude.

Bu araştırmanın amacıüniversite öğrencilerinin fonksiyonel olmayan tutumlarının genel, kişisel vesosyal uyum düzeylerini yordama gücünün belirlenmesidir. Araştırma modeli, ilişkisel araştırma yöntemi ile tasarlanmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemi orantabakalı örnekleme yöntemiyle seçilen 950 öğrenciden oluşmaktadır. Araştırmanınverileri Fonksiyonel Olmayan Tutumlar Ölçeği (FOTÖ) ve Kişisel Bilgi Formukullanılarak toplanılmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen sonuçlara göre, fonksiyonel olmayan tutumlar ölçeğinin 4 alt boyutu olan mükemmeliyetçilik, onaylanma ihtiyacı, bağımsız ve değişken tutum, genel uyum düzeyindekideğişimin %8.7’sini, kişisel uyum düzeyindeki değişimin %6.4’nü ve sosyal uyumdüzeyindeki değişimin %9.1’ni açıklamaktadır. Standartlaştırılmış regresyonkatsayılarına göre, yordayıcı değişkenlerin, genel uyum düzeyi üzerindekigöreli önem sırası, mükemmelci tutum (?=-0.138), ve bağımsız tutum (?=-0.134), onaylanma ihtiyacı (?=-0.108), değişken tutumdur (?=-0.047).
