INVESTIGATION OF THE SENSITIVITY TO JUSTICE LEVELS OF WOMEN AND MEN IN FITNESS CENTERS

Özet
Whether the feelings of justice of men and women engaged in sports are different from each other is among the questions. The aim of this study is to examine the sensitivity levels of women and men who do sports in fitness centers according to independent variables. Method: The research was designed according to the relational screening model. Personal information form and Justice Sensitivity Scale Victim Form were used by the researcher in order to gather information about the participants, independent variables (gender) considered to be effective in the study. The sample of the research; It consists of 286 men and women between the ages of 25-35 who exercise in fitness centers selected by simple random sampling method. Results: When the socio-demographic characteristics of the participants are examined, it is seen that 25.4% of them are men and 47.6% are women. The average score the participants got from the scale of sensitivity to justice is 34.02. When the scale of sensitivity to justice of the participants according to gender is examined, it is seen that there is a statistically significant difference. Women's sensitivity to justice scale mean scores are higher than men. As a result, the sensitivity level of women who do sports was found to be higher than men. © 2020, Ataturk Universitesi.
