Edebiyat Sosyolojisi ve Oryantalizm Baglaminda ‘Masal’ Siirinin Tahlili

Abstract

Masal siiri Sezai Karakoç’un siirleri içerisinde farkli bir yerde durur. Modernlik ve gelenek arasinda tavrini gelenekten yana alan fakat gelenegi yenilenebilir ve sürdürülebilir formda gören Karakoç, Islam medeniyetini Bati’ya karsi savunurken adeta Dogu’nun da hukukunu bu çati altinda koruyan bir edayla konusur. Bu baglamda siir, bir oryantalizm elestirisi olarak görülebilir. Oryantalizm, Bati’nin kendinden olmayan kültür ve medeniyetleri degistirmeye ve böylece de onlari denetim altina almayi hedefleyen bir düsünüs biçimi olarak karsimiza çikar. Nitekim Edward Said Oryantalizmi, Bati ve Dogu arasindaki epistemolojik ve ontolojik düsünüs ayrimi biçiminde zikreder. Batili zihniyetin düsünüs formu olarak oryantalizm, öznenin nesne karsisindaki hiyerarsik üstünlügünü dolayimlayan ve özneyi tehdit eden her bir unsurun denetimini öngören ufka sahip görünür. Fatma Erkman Akerson’un da ifadesiyle Said bu eserinde yapisöküm metodunu kullanir. Çok yönlü bir okuma modeli olarak yapisöküm, metinde yer alan gizli hiyerarsik yapilari desifre eder ve hiyerarsilerin esasinda yapilandirilmis hiyerarsiler oldugunun altini çizer. Çünkü hayatin realitelerinde özne ve nesne diye bir ayrima tesadüf edilmez. Bunlar ancak hakikati temellük ettigi vehmiyle hareket eden zihnin, kendini insâ etmek için üretmek zorunda oldugu tali ögelerdir. Bu baglamda Masal siiri, hem bir oryantalizm elestirisi içerir hem de edebiyatla sosyolojinin iç içe geçtigi bir metin örnegi olarak dikkat çeker.

The poem of the ‘Masal’ stands in a different place within Sezai Karakoç's poems. Between modernity and tradition Karakoç takes stand by tradition, but takes tradition as a renewable and sustainable form, while defending the Islamic civilization against the West, he speaks in a way that protects the law of the East. In this context, poetry can be seen as a criticism of orientalism. Orientalism emerges as a way of thinking that aims to change the West's non-self-culture and civilizations and thus to control them. In fact, Edward Said mentions Orientalism as the separation between epistemological and ontological thinking between the West and the East. Orientalism as a form of thought in the Western mindset appears to have a horizon that prescribes the control of each element that is concerned with the hierarchical superiority of the subject and threatens the subject. In the words of Fatma Erkman Akerson Said uses the method of deconstruction in this work. Deconstruction as a multifaceted reading model decodes the secret hierarchical structures in the text and underlines that hierarchies are essentially structured hierarchies. Because in the realities of life there is no coincidence as subject and object. These are merely the subordinate elements that the mind acting on the basis of which it is based on truth has to produce to build itself. In this context, the poem of the fairy tale contains both a critique of orientalism and the notion of a text where literature and sociology intertwine.
