Türkiye Tarımının Genel Görünümü ve Küçük Üreticilerin Varlığı Üzerine Sosyolojik Bir Analiz

Abstract

Theissue of agriculture and small-scale production is one of the most importantissues of all nations in the historical process. Small producers constitute themost important pillar of the agricultural production system, which hasundergone many changes and transformations, since the humanity has adopted asedentary life. When looking at both the world and Turkey, it can be seen that largepart of agricultural production has been maintained by small producers. In thisstudy, which will be discussed in this context, a general framework of Turkey's agricultural system will be drawn and tried to understand how they create andmanage the process of survival of small producers that make up the mostimportant point in this system. Despite all the negative developments inagriculture, small producers can still be strongly able and successful on maintainingtheir existence in agricultural system in Turkey by embracing the culturalpatterns of the past and using the ability of identifying strategies in theface of new/changing conditions.

Tarımve küçük üreticilik meselesi tarihsel süreçte tüm toplumların üzerinde önemledurduğu meselelerin başında gelmektedir. İnsanlığın yerleşik hayata geçmesindengünümüze dek pek çok değişim ve dönüşüm geçiren tarımsal üretim sisteminin enönemli ayağını küçük üreticiler oluşturmaktadır. Gerek dünya geneline gerekseTürkiye tarımına bakıldığında, tarımsal üretimin büyük bir bölümünün küçüküreticiler tarafından gerçekleştirildiği görülebilmektedir. Bu bağlamda elealınacak olan bu çalışmada, Türkiye tarımsal sisteminin genel bir çerçevesiçizilerek bu sistem içinde en önemli noktayı oluşturan küçük üreticilerinhayatta kalma süreçlerini nasıl oluşturdukları ve yönettikleri anlaşılmayaçalışılacaktır. Küçük üreticiler tarımda ortaya çıkan tüm olumsuz gelişmelerekarşın geçmişten gelen kültürel motiflere sarılarak ve yeni değişen şartlara görestrateji belirleme yeteneklerini kullanarak halen güçlü bir biçimde Türkiyetarımsal sistemi içerisindeki varlıklarını devam ettirmeyibaşarabilmektedirler.
