Di destanen Kurdi de motifa imtihane

Abstract

Bu çalışmada konu, Kürt destanlarında yer alan imtihan motifi örnekleridir. Motif Index'in Kürt destanları üzerinde uygulanabilirliği var mıdır, yani bir başka deyişle Kürt destanlarından derlenen imtihan motifi örnekleri bu yönteme göre midir, değil midir? Çalışma bu sorular ile başlanmış ve bu sorulara verilen cevaplar ile sonlandırılmıştır. Stith Thomson'ın Motif-Index of Folk-Literature eserinde yer alan motif örnekleri içerisinde Kürt folklor ürünlerinden herhangi bir örneğin bulunmayışı bizleri böyle bir çalışmaya iten asıl etken olmuştur. Bütün milletler gibi Kürt milletinin hafızasında da bazı destan örnekleri varlıklarını koruyarak günümüze kadar ulaşmışlardır. Birçok araştırmacı tarafından Kürtçenin konuşulduğu bölgelerden derlenen destan örnekleri olsa da bu örnekler üzerinde çok fazla teorik çalışma yapılmadığını görmekteyiz. Ancak son yıllarda Kürt dili ve edebiyatının tüm dallarında olduğu gibi destanlar üzerinde de akademik çalışmaların arttığına şahitlik etmekteyiz. Bu çalışma, alandaki bir boşluğu doldurmayı amaçlamaktadır. Çalışmanın birinci bölümünde destan kavramı, destan türleri, destanların diğer anlatı türleri ile ilişkisi ve Kürt destanları üzerine yapılan çalışmalar üzerinde durulmuştur. İkinci bölümde Motif-Index of Folk-Literature (Halk Edebiyatının Motif İndeksi) adlı eserde yer alan motif kavramı ve eserde yer alan imtihan motifi örnekleri üzerinde durulmuştur. Bu eserin içeriğinde çeşitli folklorik anlatılarda yer alan motif örnekleri yer almaktadır. Çalışmanın üçüncü ve son bölümünde araştırmanın kapsamında yer alan destanların özetlerine ve bu destanlarda tespit edilen imtihan motifleri örneklerine yer verilmiştir.

In this study, the subject is the examples of test motifs in the Kurdish epics. Is the Motif Index applicable to Kurdish epics, in other words, are the examples of test motifs compiled from Kurdish epics according to this method or not? The study started with these questions and ended with the answers given to these questions. The fact that there are no examples of Kurdish folklore products among the motif samples in Stith Thomson's Motif-Index of Folk-Literature has been the main factor that prompted us to such a study. Like all nations, some epic examples have survived in the memory of the Kurdish nation, preserving their existence. Although there are examples of epics compiled from regions where Kurdish is spoken by many researchers, we see that not much theoretical work has been done on these examples. However, in recent years, we have witnessed an increase in academic studies on epics as well as in all branches of Kurdish language and literature. This study aims to fill a gap in the field. In the first part of the study, the concept of epic, epic types, the relationship of epics with other narrative types and studies on Kurdish epics are emphasized. In the second part, the concept of motif in the work called Motif-Index of Folk-Literature and the examples of examination motifs in the work are emphasized. In the content of this work, there are examples of motifs in various folkloric narratives. In the third and last part of the study, the summaries of the epics within the scope of the research and the examples of test motifs determined in these epics are given.
