Main directions of researches of academician Yagub Mahmudovs scientific school

Abstract

The article reveals the contribution of academician Yagub Mahmudov and his followers to the coverage of the history of the Azerbaijan in the Middle Ages and in the Modern History. The article shows the part of academician Yagub Mahmudov in the development of Azerbaijan's medieval history and highlights the views of the scholar on the Azerbaijan's medieval diplomacy and the relationship between the Azerbaijani states and Western European countries.
