Abstract

The work, which we are going to introduce and evaluate, examines the concept of takfir, as well as the concept of people of qibla, which was developed as a result of the efforts made at the intellectual level to solve the problem of takfir in Islamic thought in a religious-theological framework, and which has a very functional nature to overcome the problem of takfir. In this study, which was published by Mahsum Aytepe as Ahl-i Qibla and Tekfir in Islamic Thought, the concept of the people of qibla is discussed with its various aspects, the problem areas of the thought of takfir, its principles and its relationship with the people of qibla are analyzed from different aspects.

Tanıtım ve değerlendirmesini yapacağımız eser, tekfir kavramı ile beraber, İslam düşüncesinde tekfir problemini dini-itikadi bir çerçevede çözmek için fikri düzeyde gösterilen çabalar sonucu geliştirilen ve tekfir problemini aşmak için oldukça işlevsel bir mahiyet arz eden ehl-i kıble kavramını incelemektedir. Mahsum Aytepe tarafından İslam Düşüncesinde Ehl-i Kıble ve Tekfir adıyla basılan bu çalışmada ehl-i kıble kavramı çeşitli yönleri ile ele alınmakta, tekfir düşüncesinin problem alanları, ilkeleri ve ehl-i kıble ile ilişkisi farklı yönlerden analiz edilmektedir.
