SPORDA TEMEL İHTİYAÇLAR TATMİN ÖLÇEĞİ GEÇERLİK VE GÜVENİRLİK ÇALIŞMASI: ÜÇ-BOYUTLU YAPI

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı, “Sporda Temel İhtiyaçlar Tatmin Ölçeği”ni (STİTÖ) sporcular için Türk kültürüne uyarlamaktır. Araştırmanın örneklem grubunu 88 erkek ve 80 kadın sporcu oluşturmuştur. Ölçek araştırmaya gönüllü olarak katılmayı kabul eden sporculara uygulanmıştır. Dağıtılan 220 ölçme aracından doğru doldurulmuş olarak kabul edilen, 168 ölçme aracı değerlendirilmeye alınmıştır. Ölçekteki ifadelerin değerlendirilmesinde 5 kategorili Likert türü ölçekten yararlanılmıştır. Ölçeğin yapı geçerliği Doğrulayıcı Faktör Analizi (DFA) ile tespit edilmiştir. Ölçeğin iç tutarlılığını değerlendirmek için alt boyutların ve toplam ölçeğin Cronbach’s Alfa katsayıları incelenmiştir. DFA sonuçları, ölçeğin üç alt boyutlu (Yeterlilik, Özerklik ve İlişki kurma) ve 14 ifadeli yapıya sahip olduğunu göstermiştir (Ki-Kare/sd=1.84, RMSEA=0.071, RMR= 0.028, SRMR= 0.057, NFI=0.92, NNFI=0.95, CFI=0.96, GFI=0.90, AGFI=0.85). Ölçeğin toplam iç tutarlılık katsayısı ise .851 olarak tespit edilmiştir. Sonuç olarak yapılan analizler, Türk kültüründe STİTÖ’nün sporcuların temel ihtiyaçlarının tatmin düzeylerini ölçme ve değerlendirmede geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçek olduğunu kanıtlamaktadır.

The purpose of this study was to adapt the “Basic Needs Satisfaction in Sport Scale” (BNSSS), to Turkish culture for athletes. The sample of the study was composed of 88 male and 80 female athletes. The scale was conducted to the athletes who voluntarily accepted to participate in the study. The distributions of the 220 measuring tools truly filled 168 measuring tools taken into consideration. 5-point Likert-Scale was used in the evaluation of the items on the scale. The construct validity of the scale was determined by Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA). Cronbach’s Alpha coefficients of the sub-dimensions and the total scale were examined to evaluate the internal consistency of the scale. CFA results showed that the scale has three sub-dimensions (autonomy, competence, and relatedness) and 14 items (Chi-Square/df=1.84, RMSEA=0.071, RMR= 0.028, SRMR= 0.057, NFI=0.92, NNFI=0.95, CFI=0.96, GFI=0.90, AGFI=0.85). The Cronbach’s Alpha internal consistency value of the overall scale was determined as .851. Finally results to proved that BNSSS was a valid and reliable scale in the estimation of the basic needs satisfaction levels of the athletes in Turkish culture.
