"Küçük Kara Balık" ile "Martı Jonathan Livingston" eserlerinin eleştirel düşünme açısından karşılaştırılıp değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Bu çalışmada Azerî asıllı İranlı yazar Samed Behrengî'nin "Küçük Kara Balık" ile Amerikalı yazar Richard Bach'ın "Martı Jonathan Livingston" adlı eserlerinin eleştirel düşünme açısından karşılaştırılıp değerlendirilmesi ele alınmıştır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, farklı milletlerde, kültürlerde, inançlarda, dillerde ortaya çıkan eserlerin eleştirel düşünme becerisinin ortaya konulma şekli, bu becerinin kazandırılma yöntemi ve bireye katkısı üzerinde durulmuştur. Farklı kültürlerin mahsulü olan bu eserlerdeki eleştirel düşünmenin ortaya konulması, ele alınış biçimi, seçilen tür, benzer, farklı ve ortak yönlerinin ortaya nasıl konulduğu ele alınmıştır. Çalışma, nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden doküman analizi kullanılarak söz konusu eserler incelenerek karşılaştırılmıştır. Çalışmada Karşılaştırmalı Edebiyat Biliminin verileri kullanılarak iki eser eleştirel düşünme bağlamında değerlendirilmiştir. Bilim ve teknoloji çağı olarak adlandırılan 21. yüzyıl, bilgiye ulaşmanın çok kolay ama ulaşılan bu sayısız bilgi yığınları arasından işimize yarayacak doğru bilgiyi bulmanın çok zor olduğu bir çağdır. Eskiden günleri ve ayları alan bilgiye ulaşma süreci teknoloji sayesinde dakikalara hatta saniyelere düşmüştür. Asıl problem bu kadar bilgi yoğunluğunun ve kirliliğinin nasıl ayıklanacağı ve doğru bilgiye nasıl ulaşılacağı sorunudur. Eleştirel düşünme becerileri kullanılarak bu bilgi yığınları arasından doğru bilgiye ulaşma ve onu kullanma ve yanlış bilgileri eleme becerisi kazandırıldığı çalışma neticesinde ortaya çıkarılmıştır. Bu sayede bilgi kirliliğinin olumsuz etkilerinden kurtularak bunu avantaja çevirme yolu sunulmuştur. In this study, the comparison and evaluation of "Little Black Fish" by the Azeri-origin Iranian writer Samed Behrengi and "Jonathan Livingston Seagull" by the American writer Richard Bach in terms of critical thinking is also discussed. The aim of this study is to reveal that the way of revealing the critical thinking skill of the Works that emerged in different nations, cultures, beliefs and languages, the method of gaining this skill and its contribution to the people. It is discussed how the similar, different and common aspects of critical thinking in these works, which are the product of different cultures, are revealed according to the chosen genre. The study was compared by examining the works in question using document analysis, one of the qualitative research methods. In the study, using the data of Comparative Literature Science, two Works were evaluated in the context of critical thinking. The 21st century, which is called the age of science and technology, is an age in which it is very easy to reach information, but it is very difficult to find the right information that will be useful to us among the countless information stacks. The process of accessing information, which used to take days and months, has decreased to minutes or even seconds thanks to technology. The main problem is how to sort out such information density and pollution and how to reach the right information. It has been revealed as a result of the study that the ability to reach and use the right information from this pile of information by using critical thinking skills and to eliminate the wrong information. In this context, a way to get rid of the negative effects of information pollution and turn it into an advantage is presented.
