Özet

The aim of this study is to examine the experimental empathy and awareness studies for the disabled in the field of sports science. Document analysis, one of the qualitative research methods, was used in the study. The study included 26 scientific article studies in the field of sports science for people with disabilities between the years 2009-2023. Ulakbim, Google Scholar, Web of Sciences, Eric and Pumbed databases were used as data collection tools. Studies were examined in terms of year, method, sample type, sample size and age group studied. In the analysis of the data, frequency and percentage calculations were made using the content analysis method. According to the findings of the research, the studies were mostly conducted in 2021 and 2022, mixed methods were used methodically, the studies conducted according to the sample type were mostly carried out with secondary school students, the number of studies with 100 or less participants in the sample size was more, and the age group studied was the lowest. It has been determined that the 0-18 age group is mostly concentrated. As a result, it is suggested that a total of 26 scientific article studies conducted between 2009-2023 were insufficient in fourteen years, the number of empathy and awareness studies conducted in the field of sports science for the disabled should be increased, and the sample size should be extended to wider masses. In addition, it is thought that it will be useful in terms of giving researchers and educators an idea on the subject, allowing the evaluation of the studies done, recognizing the needs and deficiencies in the field and guiding future studies.

Bu çalismada amaç, spor bilimi alaninda engellilere yönelik yapilan deneysel empati ve farkindalik çalismalarini incelenmektir. Çalismada nitel arastirma yöntemlerinden doküman incelemesi kullanilmistir. Çalismaya 2009-2023 yillari arasi engelli bireylere yönelik spor bilimi alaninda yapilan 26 bilimsel makale çalismasi dâhil edilmistir. Veri toplama araci olarak Ulakbim, Google Akademik, Web of Sciences, Eric ve Pumbed veri tabanlari kullanilmistir. Çalismalar, yil, yöntem, örneklem türü, örneklem büyüklügü ve çalisilan yas grubu degiskenleri açisindan incelenmistir. Verilerin çözümlenmesinde içerik analizi yöntemi kullanilarak frekans ve yüzde hesaplamasi yapilmistir. Arastirmada elde edilen bulgularda, çalismalarin 2021 ve 2022 yillarinda daha çok yapildigi, yöntemsel olarak karma yöntemlerin kullanildigi, örneklem türüne göre yapilan çalismalarin çogunlukla ortaokul ögrenciler ile gerçeklestirildigi, örneklem büyüklügünde 100 ve daha az katilimci ile yapilan çalismalarin daha çok oldugu ve çalisilan yas grubunda ise en çok 0-18 yas grubunun yogunlukta oldugu belirlenmistir. Sonuç olarak, 2009-2023 yillari arasi yapilan toplam 26 bilimsel makale çalismasinin on dört yillik süre içinde yetersiz sayida oldugu, spor bilimi alaninda engellilere yönelik yapilan empati ve farkindalik çalismalarin sayisinin arttirilmasi, örneklem büyüklügünün daha genis kitlelere yayilmasi gerektigi önerilmektedir. Bununla birlikte arastirmaci ve egitimcilere konu üzerine fikir vermesi, yapilan çalismalari degerlendirmeye olanak tanimasi, alandaki ihtiyaç ve eksikliklerin farkina varilmasi gelecekte yapilacak çalismalara yön vermesi açisindan yararli olacagi düsünülmektedir.
