Thomas Kuhn'un Bilim Anlayışı Üzerine

Abstract

Thomas Kuhn, as a philosopher and a science historian, has made a revolutionary touch in the history of science and philosophy in the second middle of 20. century. Compared to the philosophers and science historians before him, the concepts and the terms used by him is mostly new. The perspective that he presented throughout his works stands contrary to other perspectives as well. In this study, the main target is to analyse his revolutionary perspective through defining the concepts he used, and mentioning the relations between these concepts.Key Words: Thomas Kuhn, Scientific Revolutions, Paradigm, The History of Science and Philosophy

Bir filozof ve felsefe tarihçisi olarak Thomas Kuhn, 20. Yüzyılın ikinci yarısında bilim ve felsefe tarihinin akışını değiştirebilecek devrimsel bir bakış açısı sunmuştur. Kendisinden önceki filozof ve felsefe tarihçileriyle kıyaslandığında, kullandığı kavramlar ve terimler oldukça yenidir. Sahip olduğu perspektif de diğer filozoflar ve bilim tarihçilerinin perspektiflerine kıyasla zıt bir konumdadır. Bu çalışmanın temel amacı T. Kuhn’un bu devrimsel perspektifini onun kullandığı kavramları ve bu kavramlar arasındaki ilişkileri tanımlayarak irdelemektir.
