Üniversite gençliğinin toplumsal ve siyasal sorunlara bakısı: Mus Alparslan Üniversitesi ve Bitlis Eren Üniversitesi öğrencileri örneği

Abstract

Üniversite kavramı, dünyada olduğu gibi ülkemizde de önemine dikkat çekilen, farklı bakıs açılarından uzun yıllardır tartısılan bir kavram olma özelliğini korumaktadır. Süreç içerisinde yapılan tartısmalar dünyadaki gelismelere kosut olarak yön değistirse de, konuya verilen önemde herhangi bir azalma olmamıstır. Konunun önemsenmesinin temelinde kurulusundan günümüze üniversite kurumunun toplumsal yasamın gelisimine etkilerinin ve bu kurumdan olan sosyo-ekonomik beklenti düzeyinin yüksek olması yatmaktadır. Türkiye’de her ile bir üniversite kazandırılmaya iliskin sürdürülen yoğun çalısmalar hedefine ulasmıs ve 2006-2008 aralığında arka arkaya kurulan 41 devlet üniversitesi ile artık Türkiye’nin her ilinde bir üniversite bulunması sağlanmıstır. Bunun en önemli getirilerinden birisinin, bölge halkının artık okuyabilme adına kendilerine uzak saydıkları yerlesim yerlerine gitmemeleri ve eğitimlerini kendi memleketlerinde sürdürebilme imkanı verilmis olduğu söylenebilir. İste bu söylemler paralelinde bu makalede yeni açılan üniversitelerin, kurulduğu sehire olan etkileri, sehrin sosyal ve kültürel yasamına neler kattığı ve bir kültür yuvası olan üniversitelerin sehir insanlarının ve gençlerinin hayatlarında nasıl bir değisime sebep olabileceği, Mus Alparslan Üniversitesi’nin ve Bitlis Eren Üniversitesi’nin çesitli bölümlerinden seçilen 100’er, toplam 200 öğrenciyle yapılan anketler sonucunda SPSS veri çözümleme tekniği ile analiz edilmeye çalısılacaktır. Yine bu analizler bağlamında üniversite öğrencilerinin hem il, hem bölge hem de bulundukları üniversite hakkında neler düsündükleri; siyasal, toplumsal ve kültürel sorunlar ve bu sorunların çözümleri hakkında neler düsündükleri de irdelenecektir. Bu açıklamaların ısığında ise yeni açılan iki üniversite ile alakalı bilgiler karsılastırmalı olarak anlatılacak ve bu bilgiler neticesinde genel bir değerlendirme yapılacaktır.

The term university preserves its feature to be focus term discussed from different angles since years in our country like the rest of the world. Even though the ongoing discussions shifted in parallel with the changes in the world the importance given to the subject haven't decrease. The reason why the subject is given so much importance is because the university institution has since its beginning been critical for the development of the society life and socio-economic expectancy on this institute has been high. The aim and affords to establish a university for each city had accomplished and by the establishment of 41 university between 2006 and 2008, enabled all cities to have a university. The most important advantage of this step is to let the local community to study in their homelands and to finish the need of going far places for university education. In this report in parallel of these article, the effects of the new universities to the city, their contribution on the social and cultural life of the city, and the university as a home of culture what kinds of change can it cause on the people and youth of the city will be analyzed. This issue will be analyzed using SPSS analysis technique by surveys made with 200 students chosen from different departments in Mus Alparslan University and Bitlis Eren University 100 students from each university. In context of these analyses again the questions about what the university students think about the city, region and the universities they study and what are their ideas about political, social and cultural problems and the ways to solve them will be analyzed. In the light of these explanations some information about these two new established universities given in a comparative way, and a general overview will be made in conclusion of this information.
