Mikrobiyolojik Kavramların Öğretilmesine İlişkin Ders Materyali Geliştirme Çalışması

Abstract

Kavram eğitiminde temel amaç, hedeflenen kavramın öğrenciler tarafından en kolay şekilde anlaşılır haldekavranmasını sağlamaktır. Ulaşılması zor, tehlike arz eden veya yabancı dil kökenli isimlere sahip olankavramların öğretilmesine yönelik bilimsel çalışmalar yapılmaktadır. Bu çalışmalar kavramın görselleştirilmesi,somutlaştırılması veya gündelik hayatta kullanılması ile öğrenilmesini kolaylaştırmaya yönelik olmaktadır.Teknolojinin gelişmesi ile kavram eğitiminde yeni çalışmalar ortaya çıkmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı gelişenteknolojik imkanlar ile ulaşılması zor olan mikrobiyolojik kavramların öğretilmesinde kullanılacak sanal materyalhazırlamaktır. Çalışmada materyal geliştirme yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Ayrıca nitel çalışma prensibine dayanarakdoküman incelemesi yapılmıştır. Literatür taraması sonucunda elde edilen resimler ve araştırmacılar tarafındandoğada yapılan gözlemlerde yapılan çekimler sonucunda elde edilen veriler kullanılmıştır. Bu veriler kodlanarakbetimsel olarak analiz edilmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda görsel ve yazımsal özellikleri barındıracak kapsamdainternet entegreli bir materyal hazırlanmıştır. Materyal mikrobiyolojik kavramların öğretilmesininkolaylaştırılması amacıyla resim ve tanımlayıcı ifadelerle zenginleştirilmiştir. Ayrıca mikrobiyolojik kavramlarayönelik sanal kitap hazırlanmıştır. İnternet erişiminin sağlanamadığı durumlarda materyalin kullanılabilmesi içininternal linkli DVD hazırlanmıştır. Sanal materyalin hazırlanması ve materyalin eğitim öğretim sürecindekullanılmasına yönelik öneriler sunulmuştur.

The basic aim of concept education is to provide students with a comprehensible understanding of the targetedconcept. Scientific studies are conducted to teach the concepts that are difficult to reach, that are dangerous orthat have foreign language names. These studies are aimed at facilitating the visualization, concretization or useof the concept in daily life. With the development of technology, new studies emerge in concept education. Theaim of this study is to prepare a virtual material to be used in the teaching of microbiological concepts which aredifficult to reach with developing technological means. The material development method was used in thisstudy. In addition, a document review was conducted based on the qualitative working principle. The dataobtained as a result of the observations made by the researchers and the pictures obtained from the literaturereview were used. These data were coded and analyzed descriptively. As a result of the study, an Internet-integrated material was prepared to accommodate visual and spelling features. The material is enriched withpictures and descriptive expressions to facilitate the teaching of microbiological concepts. In addition, a virtualbook was prepared for microbiological concepts. In cases where internet access could not be provided, an internallink DVD was prepared to use the material. Preparations for the virtual material and the use of the material in theeducational process are presented .
