| dc.description.abstract | Artificial Intelligence (AI) is increasingly being used in public administration as well as the private sector, and it is a transformative technology that has the potential to revolutionize many areas where it is used. AI offers transformative opportunities for the automation of routine and tedious tasks that take a lot of time in public administration, improving decision-making processes, combating crime, and ensuring security, making the provision of many services more efficient with cyber security, and optimizing resource allocation in the public sector. However, to ensure that AI is used effectively for the public good, important questions and issues are raised regarding its dimensions, such as ethics, transparency, accountability, and privacy. These multiple and growing AI and uses, which cannot be separated from the masses of unpublished data available in many sectors, and the monopolies of large technology companies in this field raise many questions and problems. Therefore, this study aims to reveal that the application of AI in public administration brings many advantages, as well as significant risks. This underlines that the issue will lead to much more serious problems in the near future, especially if urgent measures are not taken to solve ethical issues. © 2025 Nova Science Publishers, Inc. | en_US |
